Is there a future for TV or have youtube and streaming taken over? 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personally I do not watch TV anymore. I simply don't have time for the episodes to be split into about four different parts. All the advertisements which drag on. 

The only time I watch TV is when I watch live sport such as soccer Bundesliga or Championslegue on sky because it doesn't make sense to watch them after the match is done and the score is known.

Many of my friends told me they also don't bother watching TV anymore. When we watch a series we can  usually stream it or watch it on youtube for free. 
Personally I think most people will eventually revert to streaming and youtube. Especially since some TV's now started offering a selection of series to watch after the usual time. 

The other day I was surprised to find out that even my brothers X-box when connected to the TV lets you watch series at selection and without advertisement. 

 

For big companies this is very bad because advertisements on TV can be a very effective way to find new customers for a product, when one selects the right time to place an advertisement for the customer.
