Becoming famous through social media 

 

We all know this one celebrity who you always have to think twice for what they actually became famous for. 

The reason is usually that have very effective social media, and this mainly drives their sucess. The fact that videos can go viral so quickly seems quite scary if you think about it. On the one hand it lay a foundation for celebrities such as Justin Bieber or Cro because they could build up their career over youtube. However for other people like Giovani Plowman "The girl that ate her tampon"  one video can haunt them for life. 

 

 

Personally I think that youtube, twitter, and facebook are a positive aspect for celebrities, and if one eats their own tampon or does similarly "brain dead" actions online that individual has to deal with the consequences.
