As we all know advertisement is a very effective way to get consumers attention because it appeals to our senses of pleasure. I want to know which types of advertisement are most effective and why? 

 

 

The most effective advertisements are shown to be in Television. With 25% reach to the target audience" it can be considered the most effective medium for advertisements. 

 

Tv advertisements are very expensive but often companies seem to rather spend the money to have one memorable advertisement in TV opposed to having various ones in different mediums. 

 

"Any brand advertiser will tell you that when they are on TV they see a positive reaction from consumers. If they didn’t they wouldn’t be spending an outrageous amount of money to advertise in programmes like ‘7de Laan’ and ‘Carte Blanche’, plus numerous other programmes in prime time."

 

TV advertisements seem to be a garanteed success if the advertisement is creative it might even evoke consumers emotions with sound and visual aid so I find it easy to understand that TV ads are most effective.
